Halloween 2009

This Halloween turned out great. Two days before it rained and snowed and I thought it was going to be awful. But by Saturday morning the snow had melted and it had dried right up. Whitney was Sleeping Beauty this year, (thanks to my very talented friend Angie for lending us the costume) and Joshua was Max from Where the Wild Things Are (we have yet to see the movie). And I feel like I have to state for the record that Joshua wanted to be Max long before the movie came out and became trendy :) It was pretty easy to sew and it turned out great! A squirrel got at our jack-o-lantern. Whitney was devistated when it happened. Steve and I thought the squirrel was in the Halloween spirit and made the pumpkin more "Halloween-y."

and i love your pumpkin. i have always wanted one that looks like it is throwing up but thomas won't make one like that. he's in charge of pumpkins. your's is sort of a vomit/meth mouth combo. nice!

i'm way impressed with your sewing skills. i cross stiched something once, and the pattern was printed directly on the material i was sewing. and i still think i quit half-way through.
the kids are soooo cute.
